About Me!
Hello to anyone reading this.
I am a medically discharged Army soldier who qualified as an ASA Swimming Teacher while serving in Catterick, North Yorkshire, in 2000. I currently hold a Level 2 instructor certification, as well as Level 1 Swim Coach and Level 2 Open Water Swim Coach certifications.
In 2016, I underwent major spinal surgery, which led me to increase my hours working in the pool alongside my main job, which involved sitting at a desk. I spent about 12 months working for various swim schools throughout South Wales, and this experience ultimately helped me establish my own swim school. I have taught swimming lessons throughout my Army career during my time off and on weekends, no matter where I was stationed.
In my swim classes, I co-teach with another instructor, allowing us to provide greater support to our students.
I am incredibly grateful to Help For Heroes for their assistance in setting up this venture.
Thank you!
Best regards,
Carl.
